sm 44 Buffalo Bison needing a Barrel, Steel frame 1858 anyone point me in the direction of a 12 inch Barrel . No injuries stinging Fingers and PRIDE !
(Barrel blew up ). it had a misfire and fired 2nd shot 1st slug was still in Barrel . Big Bulge in Barrel cut to 8 inch works fine . This Gun was mint condition . Need a Front sight for the now cutdown Barrel

I have an unfinished 1858 long barrel in the shop but I think the bore size was a little on the larges size, that's probably why it's still sitting on the shelf. Need to check the size of your cylinder bore and see if it will work with a standard 44 barrel.
