I recently sold a pair of sequentially serial numbered, Ruger Bisley Vaqueros in .357. I loved them, but I don't SASS shoot anymore, and they were just sitting in the safe. I'm sure some cowboy is using them as intended.

People keep saying there are no dumb questions, but the OP is as close as it gets.

If you like em, get em! That beat the one gun mantra seven ways to breakfast.

I thought it didn't count unless you had two of them, at least! You mean, there's another way?

    Where else can you shoot a 170 grain lead .38Special at 1150 ft/sec ?

I somehow knew Jerry would post on this one. I do have a weakness for K, L, and N frame smiths. They don't exactly have to be any different barrel length or finish. All of us have an addiction of some sort.

There are 2 pistols and 1 rifle I own identical models of; the Colt SAA 4 3/4" blued .44 Special, the Colt SAA 4 3/4" blued .45 and the Cimarron carbine lever in .44 Special.

    So, creating a one-man shortage of 38/44s!

    I that real or photoshopped?

3 Blackhawks, Ruger Standard and Mk I (kinda sorta the same), 2 Beretta Model 96 Centurions (I gave one to my son after having them re-lamped by Trijicon).

There are supposed to be 36 or so chamberings that have been done on the Single Action Army revolver pattern. Mine are mostly clones, but I have enough of them to make non-enthusiasts wonder why I have so many of the "same" gun. Two (going on three) in .32-20 alone. Had I but world enough and time (and money), I'd probably wind up with all the calibers. And all the barrel lengths. Grip types and finishes. Target Models too.

GLL, that is an impressive collection!

I love threads like this....and my wife thinks I am messed-up!!! I like seeing the pictures of the results of this addiction. Maybe that is a different problem.
Take a kid to the range, you'll both be glad you did.

I feel much better now! I thought that there was something wrong with ME! Ha! I have several duplicate rifles and pistols. I really like K and N frame Smiths.

I fell for Beretta Stampedes. It helps to justify buy needing more than one to hand down to the yougin's.

I had a friend (older gentleman) that had means and bought two of every gun when buying. He kept 1 in the box never opened and shot the other. WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT COLLECTION NOW.
