    Leeks---HELP

I love them but have few recipes. Ours are ready to pull in the garden. I have soup recipes but we will have many that need other. How about grilled?

Hi Jim. I know practically nothing (Nothing) about leeks. They are somewhat fancy for me and my cooking habbits. However if you do a search on "leek recipes" it should pop up with a lot of answers/recipes.
Take care my friend, wish I could be of more help.

Chop, and saute along with some garlic and bacon. Add some mushrooms, and serve over a bed of rice with soy sauce.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

We make steak and leek pies. Saute the leeks with some butter, add some thinly sliced venison or beef and thicken with some beef broth and roux. Tuck into a hand pie crust or make pot pies. Very good stuff. Even the kids ask for more.

Chop them up, wrap in foil with some cut up potatoes, garlic, and some butter. Grill until the potatoes are tender. Grilled Leek Home Fries. You could substitute bacon drippings for the butter.

Leek rings, like onion rings. Thick slices dipped in flour, then milk & egg bath, then flour again and deep fried.
