Any one here besides me find Tennesee Gun Parts to be VERY SLOW to ship?
I'm also finding out they don't respond to emails. What the heck is goin on these days?

I think it's basically a one man operation.I remember one time I called he had to pull over to the side of the road to write down my order. I've always received good service and always check there first for milsurp parts and accessories.

I've ordered from them twice so far ,I didnt email though Called on the phone placed my order gave my CC # and got the items in a week. Try a good olde fashioned phone call may yield better results ?

Yep, don't bother e-mailing. I was recently looking for a item I thought he had and I e-mailed him twice in a week. Since we both use AOL I know he opened the e-mails and didn't bother to respond. Sombody else will get my money.

I have had good luck with him too, just mail a list, with a check. The stuff on the list comes back pretty soon. So far, his parts have all been good condition, usable stuff.

I've dealt w/ Layne a few times with good results, and also emailed him once with a question that never got answered. He is a one man show and may take a vacation, get behind, or whatever. I'd recommend that you keep trying , I get the feeling that he's a pretty good guy.

I know that computers are the Devil's handiwork. Ever since I got one my bank balance has stayed in the basement and the Missus is grumpy with me and the endless stream of packages.
