Some closer than others.
Wow....NICE
Any man who seeks to live free should keep a Bible on his desk and a .45 in the drawer.
Any chance you'd be willing to list specifics of each and what molds they are cast from?
Looks like maybe a 310 grain 45 cal Keith style on the far right and next to it another 45 cal. Keith that is similar to the RCBS 45-270-SAA or it could be the 454424 255/260grain Keith. I believe the middle of the three 44's (3rd from the left) is the Lyman 429421. Just a start............anyone else.

With regards to gun control in this country, everyone should be asking themselves one question:
What is it that this government feels they need to do, but can't do, unless the citizens of this nation are first disarmed?
(I seriously doubt you can come up with any plausible answers that you will like...)

i think you two have it bout correct.
the second from right looks like a 454424,the one in the middle looks to be 270-280 grs but seems a bit longer.
the one on the right looks more like 47-48 caliber to me.
So far you guys have been correct about:
Far Left: 38-170-K, Lyman 358429
Third Left: 44-250-K, Lyman 429421
Fifth Left: 45-290-K, MiHec 45-270-SAA
He's got us into a spin of guess the boolit. I like it!!!
Middle boolit, according to what I have learned of Elmer's wants is the closest of the lot.

Cogito, ergo armatum sum.
(I think, therefore I'm armed.)
3 equal length drive bands and a square lube groove.
the nose was bore riding and tapered to mimick the throats shape to help bore alignment.
i believe that's how i remember it being described.
From left to right:
2nd bullet is our 41-230-K. Walt Melander of NEI fame cut this for me. They rate it at 220 grains but mine is heavier. I have sizing dies for .412, .411, & .410. Seems most customers want .411. This is the last mold he cut for me & shortly after he cut no more. Sure wish I had two 4 cavity molds for this boolit cause the one I have is a 2 cavity set up for the Master Caster.
Lynn always has cast a nice boolit hasn't he.

Very nice pic's, something to warm my heart anyday! Sure do wish Elmer was still around to see what has happened to boolit design, what has been done to his designs, tell us what the WFN or LFN profile does at 500 yards and see some of the new powders, presses and gear we have today. He was pretty outspoken about people toying with his designs or outright ripping them off, i wonder what he'd say about a picture like that!

Why does a man with a 7mag never panic buy? Because a man with a 7mag has no need to panic!

Although the RCBS 44-250K is a great shooting bullet that casts very well I have never been overly fond of the extra large crimp groove ! You just can't beat the early IDEAL 429421 !
An early IDEAL bullet ! My favorite !
