    Anybody in Cedar Falls?

I just got off a phone interview with a place in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Anybody on here from that area who can give me some 411? The job sounds promising if they want to pay.

It's about 45 minutes or so from where I live. Nice town. College town. I have never been able to figure out where cedar falls ended and Waterloo began though. LOl.

Thanks for the info? Any peculiar things about the area? I might be making a trip up there for an interview in a few weeks.

Not a bad area. Puts you near Strawberry Point and Nashua, that I always liked. Good mushroom area. Easy drive to the Mississippi, Pikes Peak, Effigy Mounds, Yellow River State Forest. If ya gotta be in Iowa, the north east corner is a pretty good area to be in.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

Not a bad area of Iowa. Waterloo can be a little rough around the edges, but CF is nice. Waverly to the north and a ways down the road is Iowa City.
