We are casters and collectors of bullet molds. How many molds do you have? This may force some members to do some counting!

not enough!!!!
I think I have 23 diffrent pistol and shotgun molds. I have been casting for those for years but I want to get into rifle in the near future. I think I will start with .375H&H and 45/70
Yes, someone else thinking of good polling ideas!
Well I voted 11-25. I just started casting and got all my stuff from a estate sale in one lot. Got a bunch of molds i'll never use. but also a few I do use. Gathering more as money allows. Probably offer them in the swap and sell in the near future so I can trade or sell for the molds I need.

Not enough too. I vote for 26 to 50 but I plan to try a few others...
Funny you bring this up. Right now I'm at 89 molds. As I was looking for a certain mold the other day I was surprised to find that I had 19 molds for 38/357 alone, counting 6 duplicates. I ran across quite a few I haven't used in years. I killed the rest of the afternoon cataloging them in a notebook and referencing top punch numbers.
SP, your a candidate for eBAY! And didn't I initially say ..."This may force some members to do some counting."...counting 6 duplicates. I killed the rest of the afternoon cataloging them in a notebook and referencing top punch numbers.
I learned in the very beginning, a spread sheet is needed with the mold number - caliber - nominal diameter and if used frequently, the diameter relative to the alloy.
I am very lucky to have 191 molds: single - doubles - 6 cavity - Ideal Reloading Tools and Ideal blocks that came with the handles attached.
My initial inventory was 76 molds. Then my best friend passed on. His brother, the executor, said one day ... 'John, I got a present for you'. Into a couple of large boxes, we put 115 molds of all types and calibers. Now, my objective in life, is to buy a rifle or two for the calibers I don't have. The 1st one that comes to mind, is a Ballard single shot for the Ohaus 46 Ballard mold - Sweet!

If it was easy, anybody could do it.

The notion that a radical is one who hates his country is naïve and usually idiotic. He is, more likely, one who likes his country more than the rest of us, and is thus more disturbed than the rest of us when he sees it debauched. He is not a bad citizen turning to crime; he is a good citizen driven to despair.― H.L. Mencken
More than I can lift at one time but, I am an addict. All types. I just ordered two more from Magma Engineering.

Brother I'm going to be Pythagerus , DiVinci , and Atlas all rolled into one soon .
I'm a addict for sure, I have 10 just in the 311413. 1 dc (.313), 3 that cast .313 - .314 (one of those I made into a PB), 1 that casts .311 all standard 311413 marked. My others are, u - ex (.306), ex (.308), u (.310), Geo. Hensley (.312), B&M (.313). There are about 3 more to collect by different makers, maybe more .

Buying moulds brings me as much buyers happiness as buying a gun. Thing is I can get two or three really great moulds for the price of a cheapie gun. Then too, a pile of moulds doesn't draw as much attention as a pile of guns.....in other people's eyes. I find that handy.
