First the bad news;
My heating pad quit working.
My wife insisted it was her heating pad, until it died.
Now it is I who has to buy a new heating pad to replace my old one.
Now the good news;
After I pitched it in the garbage can I got to thinking that there may still be some life in it yet.
So, I got it out of the garbage and cut the pad part off and checked it out with the multimeter.
It still worked on all levels. I try not to keep much junk around because "I might need it someday."
But, I did have a female end to an extension cord in the garage.
I used a couple of butt connecters and tape to put it together and now I have an adjustable heating
attachment for my sizer-luber that will shut off in two hours.
I can't tell you how many times I left the heater on the sizer-luber in the past. Now all I have to
do is set it on med-high and by the time I'm through casting, the sizer-luber is ready to go.
I don't have to worry about it being on after I quite working.
