Buy a cheap one, they are all good these days, it matters little the one you pick. But someday you or someone else with fire a low shot and you will be out your money. Having said that, buy a cheap one....

I've owned Oehler, Competition Electronics, and most recently a Chrony. All are good, the Chrony is the most compact for moving to the range. Depends on your needs, but for the average shooter, the Chrony is great.

This is what I needed to hear. Like the big screens for obvious reasons! ONly shot I have ever fired over a chrono was out of a TC .50 "Hawken". It went 1790 fps with a patched rb and 80gr. FFFg.
