I like a good mold as much as the next guy, but $265 for a used two cavity mold and the auction hasn't ended?
I could see if it was owned by Elmer Keith, but many that's just plain crazy.

Who you callin' crazy?
The auction ain't over yet....
The cavities are in really poor shape too!
How's that hope and change working for you?
Well, it DOES include the handles....
The cavities do look like they have a full coat of surface rust with oil over
it. Probably will polish out and cast fine.
It's a free country, people can pay what they like but I don't need one
that bad.

If it was easy, anybody could do it.
I saw the same listing a few minutes ago and wondered if anyone here had seen it...At that rate I should have gotten about 2650.00 for my matched pair of 10 cavity moulds...Oh well thats the story of my life....Wes
The problem in America today is, there are to many fools making to many rules that don't apply to themselves. Now just wait until the new pres. takes office and see what happens!!!!!
It's just my opinion, but I think this is a classic example of a major problem with ebay: shill bidders.
I wouldn't be surprised if the bidders were connected with the seller, or maybe the seller had multiple email addresses and accounts. Each account could be used to enter a different bid in hope to suck in someone to think "this really IS worth x dollars."
Until ebay starts to police this, you won't see me bidding on ebay.
Can you say "fraud?"
I wouldn't be surprised to see this mold show up again on ebay (or gunbroker) in hopes to sell it "again." The shill seller doesn't lose anything by "buying it back". He'll (or she'll) just try to dangle it in front of another bidder with more money than brains.
Just curious Tom...anything particularly rare about that mold in a 2 cavity?
No. Just an ordinary two cavity #43.
I do not collect H&G molds so bought this 4-cavity version of the same one from Ballisti-Cast. Although I got this one a couple years ago Mike had the 4-cavity molds on his Group Buy recently for $120.

No. I let it pass. There will be others....
Rats , there goes a chance to see more of Erik's artwork for the near future

I've been working on an article to post here showcasing all the converted moulds Erik has done for me. I still have three moulds left to convert in my collection. I just haven't had time to git 'er done.
The tentative title will be:
"Hensley & Gibbs Two Cavity Hollow Point Conversions by Erik Ohlen - Hollow Point Bullet Moulds.com"
I'm planning on including all the two cavity conversions I own with the loading data I developed along with new photography.
For the archives here....
