Need a refresher please .... what is the difference between the "X" die and the small base die ?
They both full length size don't they ? ... something about military chamber tolerances maybe ...
any info would be appreciated ... thanks

Regular Full Length Dies size cases
Small Base Dies Full Length size the cases a little bit smaller for tight chambers
X Dies Size the case in a way that it doesnt need to be trimmed (normal FL sizing stretches the case a little bit)
The X dies have a stop for the case mouth. Trim all your cases just shy of that initially and they'll never grow beyond it from sizing and shooting.
