The temps here in Phoenix are starting to hit 100, so I've finished up casting for the spring. This is about a year's supply, 6,378 230gr 45acp boolits:
This forum and you guys here made it possible. Thank you.

I'm impressed, guess I'm too lazy to get that far ahead.

Life is not waiting for the storm to subside, life is about learning to dance in the rain.
After living in Phoenix for years, I finally got out of the heat. There's 2 seasons in Phoenix hot and hotter, so casting has to be done during the hot season.

I'll trade you three months of hot weather for four months of snow/sleet/ rain/freezing rain/wind and rain/wind and snow/wind and -20F.

need oversized powder funnels , PTX's or expanders ? just ask, I make 'em for most brands plus my own styles.
Hey 40Super, I forgot to ask you if Sir DripsAlot arrived safely.
Re: The Cold. No Thanks. That's why I live here. I never have to shovel the sunshine.
Yes it did and I must say, thats the first one I've seen in person with that style of valve(mine is a 20lb with the rod up/down), I can't see how it can't drip.
I'm working on the mount this weekend for putting it above the 20lb. Then it can drip to its heart content(if I can't somehow fix it,I'm making a new rod with a different tip profile).
Thanks debarnhart

I'll bet that when you get ready to lube, you don't even need a heater plate for your sizer no matter how hard of a lube you use.
ugh, ill take the -20, I don't deal well when its above 75 outside!I'll trade you three months of hot weather for four months of snow/sleet/ rain/freezing rain/wind and rain/wind and snow/wind and -20F.
How much lead did you use?
The big question is "Will that be enough until the weather cools???"
Doesn't that just make y'all warm & fuzzy inside?

(I think, therefore I'm armed.)
'Cools' is a relative term. To us 50 degrees is bone-chilling coldThe big question is "Will that be enough until the weather cools???"
I think what's going to work best for me is for twice a year for me to cast about 2500 boolits, a 6-month supply but always be 6 months ahead. I figure that my next casting session will be in October. I hope to be able to afford a Ballisti-Cast Mark VI by then. I don't look forward to sizing and lubing 2500 boolits on a Lyman 450.
