Wolf (PMC, Tula?) primers seem to have a good reputation and in some tests they produce a small but consistent flame. This is thought to give lower SD's and better accuracy. From what I know and have gleaned from the Web is:
Small Rifle-Normal cup, normal charge, copper colored
Small Rifle Magnum-Hard cup, normal charge, brass colored
Small Rifle 223-hard cup, hotter charge, brass colored (for AR's)
I use the SR223 in my AR. I have not used any of the other two.
