stock looks to have been inletted. bishop didn't machine their blanks to close tolerances. can't tell from the pictures how good the inletting is. forend tip is probably plastic, rather than ebony. I would guess it is inletted for the o3 with the milled triggerguard. midway bought fajen and bishop. fajen could have bought bishop, first. don't remember. a long time ago you could buy a stock from either of them for less than 10.00. I sent a slab of walnut to fajen and they turned and inletted a mexican mauser for 20.00. I can't tell if your stock has finish, but it appears the outside has been finished. Bishop left a lot of excess wood on their blanks. barrel channel looks to be a military springfield. could have been an a-3 with an 0-3 trigger guard. didn't see a cutout for the barrel mounted rear sight. either springfield should fit it.
