    Smile Lever shotgun?

    G'day,
I don't own a shot gun at all, and have been thinking a lever action might be fun. Anything out there in current production?

A repro of the Winchester Model 1887 lever action shotgun is currently being produced. Check this out http://www.cimarron-firearms.com/Shotgun/Shotguns.htm

I would consider giving that cimarron a try. I have an original 1887 goose gun and love it! You have to let your bird or clay get out there a bit because they were built with a full choke and 32" barrel, but they have a sweet smooth action and are great shooters.
If you're gonna shoot shoot, don't talk.

A few weeks ago I was looking at a Rossi, Lever action shotgun based on the same frame as their new 30-30 is built on. It was a really sweet looking gun, but since I never have had much use for a shotgun it was just a passing interest.

    Best wishes,

Tyrants use the force of the people to chain and subjugate-that is, enyoke the people. They then plough with them as men do with oxen yoked. Thus the spirit of liberty and innovation is reduced by bayonets, and principles are struck dumb by cannon shot: Albert Pike, Morals and Dogma
