thanks
seems to me is gerneric to seting up another form of automation. . sure will be acceptable, after all is just an example of how you did something
Can't belive how much i spent for insulation and wiring for tool shed. well over a grand. $2.04 for three wire with copper ground 10 ga. 12 is $1.57 foot. Air, compressor and heaters lights and other stuff too much current for single buss. Running two lines at 20 amp
but buy golly will be comfortable when 115 outside

Very clever set up ! As for those saying it is unsafe,do not worry. If you accidently cut off a finger,it can grow back, right ?
Have seen many industrial accidents.A few were caused by someone bypassing a safety switch cause it slows them down and anyway,"I am always careful, why worry."
You should get an "A" for ingenuity and a "F" for safety.
Well he built it for his use , and after looking at it I'd say he doesn't need to build things idiot proof for his own use.
sorry . i was including R30 &R19 insulation and shed is 16 by 16
have all but one part i need to finish my Pneumatic set up. Need a Yoke to make a U joint to match the rod end to the threaded Lath Smith rod he made. Could make one i think but not worth the effort when can buy for about $10/ One on order. Did set it up for a test with a make shift yoke seems to be working as expected. Put in meter out exhaust valves to control the speed. With out them, speed on the up or down stroke is way to fast. One other thing that has surprised me is the amount of air used and the 50 to 60 pounds pressure to push the bullet through the sizer. If not for that could control speed with a simple regulator. So far that is the only part I ordered and not put to work. suspect the air cushions and wiper were not necessary that would have saved $20 or bit more.
Will post some pictures next week when the last part gets here. Ordered a bullet feeder from magna, just to preserve fingers, however for one hand operation it seems fairly safe. But only the Shadow knows what can happen on those dumb mistake monents...

hi,
i have one star lube sizer with the bullets feeder and heater base and air system.
I have totally automatized this machine and now i can size and lube about 2000-2100 bullets/h.
Has anyone the M-A- collator for star by magma engineering, or has anyone tried to use one other collator?
Soon i will post, photos videos on youtube while the machine is working.
I gotta say Jarel , it is Farmer Tech at it's finest.
Were you in the Marines? Improvise, adapt and overcome.
Can't wait to start on mine. Your lever linkage, cam setup, will be my blank canvas...with electronic mods, light beam safeties...the works.
I want the cam setup overhead, off the floor, for starters......
Very cool , Jarel...you have got many sets of wheels turning here...the mark of a true innovator.
there a lot system for motorize the star, but the hard part is to improve the bullets feeder (i will post my work on it) , and to apply one m-a- collator for have the maximum results..cost for one solid and fast machine about 2500 dollars..
My machine now is sizing an lubing about 2100 boolits/h (without m-a collator)
complete star lube sizer with bullets feeder , heater, gas piston, die. about 800 $
project, engine, gear, controller, and handmade modific from one specialist 1000$
M-a collator from magma (but i don't have experience with it or ever seen one) 600$
I really like your setup, that looks like a great way to size!
The bullet feeder is not a guarantee of safety. See the thread, stars bite. Personal experience, you can still punch a hole in your finger with the feeder installed.
