I purchased this mould from a fellow member thinking it was a
regular 150 gr. Boolit. When i opened the box to use it
i found this; what can i use it for??? How do i lube it ???
The base is larger than the rest of it...

Try putting it through your sizer if the rest of the bullet is the right size. Otherwise, throw it in your melting pot the next time you are casting. Or, send it back for a refund.
Do the mould looke the same?
Or are the boolit cast to cold thus not filling the grooves correctly.
What does the caliter say about size?
Why don't you ask the person who sold it to you? It might be a custom design with multiple options for crimping in the front micro-grooves, or the theory might be to tumble lube it and then size/fill the big groove with conventional lube. I see a lot of combination micro/conventional groove boolits on the Accurate Mold site catalog.
A pic of the mould itself would be more helpful than the boolit.
Gear
looks like a Lee mould we ran a while back that could double as a conventional lubing or be used as a TL. If I remember right.
I like Gear's theory
try it like that, and tell us how you like it
perhaps it will shoot gangbusters for you.
It looks like a schuetzen bullet to be panlubed and breech seated. What diameter?
Looking at the goofy nose and over sized base my first guess is someone tried some home mould modification.
What did the seller advertise this mould as?
measure the big lube groove ,if it is capable of taking a g/c have the p/b milled off and gas check it,might be a decent shooter.
i does have a funky looking nose?
what does it mic at? and how long is it?
with a g/c it'll look like a "mini loverin"
weird very weird,,,, but i like it for some goofy reason.
i.m just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round..... i really love to watch them roll ,,,, J,W,L.
if it is a 30 and the main body is about .300 and the base .310 or so it is a baseband type bullet and sometimes they shoot very well with light loads. The ideal 308403 is like this as were some made by Beverage and other custom mold makers for the older Schuetzen rifles.
