I went to the "Big Reno Gun Show" last weekend and it was a sensory overload as always. Had hoped to sell three guns which a friend allowed me to display on his table but no luck despite my very reasonable prices. I did make a few good buys, however, including an Ideal No. 5 powder measure. This is the ancestor of the Lyman 55 but without the (unecessary, I think) compound slide. It has the cast-in-one -piece hopper and a butter-smooth slide. My first loading effort with it tends to persuade me to adopt it as the replacement for my Belding & Mull, at least for ball and fine tubular powders. Love the old stuff--they just don't make 'em like that any more, as they say.
