Marked 1914 Erfurt.
Mag does not match.
All other numbers match.
About 75-80 % finish.
Anyone have any idea the value????
I've check some of the auction sites and came up with anyware from $600 to $1800.

Lugers are a VERY specialized collector gun. Some particular variation can easily double
the value of otherwise identical guns. Condition is extremely important to many collectors,
my guess is that 75% condition drops the value a lot over a 95% gun.
I am no expert on them, but have purused a few collections and read enough to know
that you better have several experts look it over before you will have any real idea what
it is worth.
In the final situation, it is worth exactly what you can find a buyer to pay. Online auctions
are often a good indication, but as I said one different proof mark or something could
substantially change what one is worth.
Good luck.
Bill
If it was easy, anybody could do it.
Erfurt only made the Artillery version in 1914. They are not that plentiful. Erfurt made 23,000. DWM were the more common. Post pictures on the Luger Forum, many experts and long time collectors there. $1800 for an Erfurt Artillery may be the starting point.

Of all the gun collector quirkinesses that make my head ACHE, the Luger pistol quirks are the most virulent. Good luck with that critter!
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.
It's not mine.
A friend is selling one for a friend.
I've always wanted one.
Pretty hard to find any Luger for under $800
I could never own a collector grade one because they're too much fun to shoot!
Can anyone direct me to where i can get a replacement rear sight for a 1917 dated artillary luger??? I have thrawled the net to no avail,I would love an origional one but at this stage i would take a good repro.
