Thanks guys,
Just because I can load and sling lead all over the range doesn't mean I have a clue about how to do much more than type.....
Strangely the photos worked fine over on the test board for me last night?!!? Maybe because I was looking at my own "album"?
I'll try again later today, there's a P-H Volunteer and an 1863 Springfield screaming "SHOOT ME! SHOOT ME! I'm bored!"

Thanks again all.... Post is edited with photos as originally hoped. WA

Judging strictly by the thickness and shape of the sprue plate, I could believe it is a mould made by Shiloh.
That is a long defunct black powder accessories maker...not the Sharps rifle maker in Montana.

Retired...TWICE. Now just raisin' cows and livin' on borrowed time.
Sprue cutter, captive base pin, bullet shape. It is a Shilo 575-460. Have one just like it.
.................Otherwise known as "Challanger" I'm pretty sure. Came in a box almost exactly like Raphines .
Closeup of a Challanger Minie' I have. The company is out of business. The mould looks suspiciously like a Raphine in some details. Weight is 530 grs. I need to make a smaller core plug for a fatter skirt, as I believe these would be good at 200 meters too. Look at that bearing surface! The bullet is tapered .580" at the base to .582" on the top band.
BTW Dixie has a bunch of 58 cal Challanger moulds on clearance for $10 each. However I believe all but one of the available designs (several usefull 58 cal type OD's) are WC's, and the one conical is like a 315gr?

Walt-MT, montana-charlie and Buckshot are correct: It's a Shiloh mold, and Buckshot bought the one [he] pictured from me many years ago.
