Terrific news! i have had one on backorder from Midsouth since May...
My local gun shop in MN says they have them on hand, as of today.
I don't think I will suffer a great deal if I don't get one for a couple of months. I will probably have several other things to order by then.

After every act of terror we are told we should not judge all Muslims based on the actions of a few.
Isn't it time the 80 million LAW-ABIDING gun owners in America be given the same consideration? ?
Notice from Midsouth yesterday on my backorder, and did I still want it. Called and said yes and ordered a second one as a back up for a present.

With all the commotion here, I gave up on waiting for Midway to notify me of an in-stock notification for the book and I ordered direct from Lyman online Tuesday, Nov. 23.......AHHHHH of course , Midway notified me an hour later in an email that the book is in stock and ready to ship. So, I lost a few bucks. It is on the way from Lyman to me.

These thing's seem to be selling like hot cake's so I picked one up today. Look's good most article's are by Mike V. and one by Brian Pearce and one by Tom Acheson. As some one noted in another thread they have load info for some Lee and Saeco mould's. I look forward to reading it further this weekend. FB
Got the e-mail from Midway, but by the time I got to their site, they were already out.
I did some looking around and found stock on hand at Wholesale Hunter: http://www.wholesalehunter.com/produ...roductid=59019
I ordered one plus some other stuff. Note, their shipping/handling is a bit pricy.
I tried getting something from another vendor once, and asked if they just ship it, don't handle it.
They didn't appreciate my sense of humorBrings to mind the recent air traveller's complaint "Don't touch my Junk!"

Got a notice yesterday from Midway that the book was available but when I found time to get on their site only a few hours later, it was listed as 'Out of Stock' and on backorder. So I did a search on the book's title and came up with several other sites that had the book for sale. Checking on OpticsPlanet they had it for $17.99 + S&H of $6.99 which makes the total just about what Lyman is charging for the book alone. Ordered mine yesterday and they say it'll be shipping early next week.

HI,
Who is the girl on the cigar?????????????
I'm hoping that Santa will bring me one.
Mine showed up last week, nice book.
Once more into the fray. Into the last good fight I'll ever know. Live or die on this day. Live or die on this day.
Mine arrived yesterday and it has new cast loads for .500 S&W and .458 Win Mag that I had hoped for. I never had the previous editions and have only relied on the Lee books previously, so much of the book is new to me and I have begun to study it like a course from a new author. The metallurgy chapter looks to be very interesting and my kind of technical read to enjoy.
The variety of lead bullet weights for .308 Win is impressive and I load that caliber too. I'm happy with the purchase and like the way the pressure statistics are listed relative to cast bullet loads.

I am still waiting for a REVIEW of this book. Are these new tested loads or a rehash of the old ones with some from the Lee and RCBS books? Also, does anybody use a ladle as it is being used on the cover of the book?
Jay
Edit:
I meant use it as it is being used on the cover meaning holding ladle a couple inches above mold and dribbling lead into mould.

That look on your face, when you shift into 6th gear, but it's not there.
The review is pending. It just arrived yesterday.
So far the 10mm and 357mag (heavier bullet) loads seem to be considerably less than Lee's Modern Reloading for equal weights while the lighter-bullet loads seem to indicate higher velocities than expected, based on the Lyman 49th ed cast loads. I'll be reading and comparing further this evening.
...more to come. At this point, my focus is casting for handgun.
I just dont know guys, the misspelled a word on the cover! Everyone knows there is no such thing as a "cast bullet", so Im sure the interior has got to be erronious too.
