I came into this world kicking, screaming, and covered in someone elses blood. I plan to go out the same way.

    Yesterday afternoon i shot:
    1. 50 rounds of 12.7X44 in a Swede military Rolling block; brass is cut and blown .348's, 25gr. 3f, 10gr. Cream of Wheat, Lyman 515141 450gr. bullet. Shoots to sights at 50yds with this load.

    2. 50 rounds .44 Extra Long Ballard out of an original Frank Wesson military .44 tip up. I use cut and blown .303 Brit cases, 20gr. of 3f, 5 gr. Cream of Wheat, double grease cookie on top of c.o.w., 215gr. "Heeled" .44 American bullet. Got the mould from Buffalo Arms. Extremely fun gun to shoot. The double cookie is a must as the bullet has one very thin grease ring. I also "dip the tip" in melted SPG.

    3. 30 rounds of .56-50 in a Peabody Carbine. Cut 50-70's. 20gr. 3f, no filler (no room!), lyman 515141 450 gr. bullet. Accurate gun but it's very light. Ya gotta tuck it in. These are rim-fire, but I centerfired a spare block from Dixie Gun Works (they have original blocks for $15.00! I bought 2...).

    4. 20 rounds .56-56 Spencer out of a .56 Ballard. Cut 50-70's, 25g 3f, no filler, Rapine SPENCER mould, heeled bullet (the larger of the two he offers.) This Ballard was altered to center fire when I bought it. I have another .56-56 Ballard in all original condition. I'm leaving that one alone.

    5. 20 rounds of .56-50 rimfire in a Triplett and Scott rifle. Brass is cut/blown/rimfired .348's. Same load as Peabody. I have to single load these because the rounds use a .22 blank along the edge of the rim. I'm not going to alter this to centerfire. Fun (and accurate) gun to shoot and boy howdy, it tends to be a real head-scratcher at the range.

    Regards,

Shot a fox squirrel off of the top of the phone pole with the air rifle. It had been hit by a car and was in bad shape. Gave it to my dobermann to play with and eat. She was very happy.

Ruger Old Army (.457" RB's + 3/8" greased felt OP wad) with 30 grs. (volume) Pyrodex P and CCI #11 caps. I shot it off hand at 15 yds. and was very pleased with its accuracy.

45 through the 7x57. Various 160gn boolit alloys over Red and Blue dot from 15-1900fps. Surpeised myself when a test batch of 50/50 at 1900 shot better than ww at same vel at 100yds.
Was also testing my 20 VarTargfor reduced loads as in one area I visit for rabbits there is a 20 - 150 yd visibility and the 22LR is scratching a bit.
Ran a few test strings with the 34gn Nosler and the 32gn V Max at up to 2750fps as against my serious load of the 35gn Berger at 3735fps. reduced loads are a good short range option and with the supressor are almost quieter than supersonis 22LR.

    What I shot today.

Well, I shot 100 250 grain, .45 caliber Lee RNFP that i ran through my .454 1.0 Secant Nose forming punch and loaded them in .45 Auto Rim cases to shoot out of my S&W 625.
Listen! Do you hear it. The roar of cannons, the screams of the dying! Ahh! Music to my ears!
