    Mine also has a split rear reciever with the bolt handle root locking in the loading port.
    The model number is 103.181 on mine.
    your model number is 103.18

    other than adding the scope, the only thing I did on mine was to refinish the stock

    M103.181...looks like they did change the model #

    No grooves for a scope mount on mine though. Whoever had it in the interum forged the handle and the right side of the reciever is D&T for a scope base. Probably one of the old Weaver type, guess I'll start looking around at the gunshow and old gunshops for one. Might be able to modify something to fit. Mine still shoots good but I have to put a jewlers loop with correction in front of my right glasses lens to be able to focus on the front sight. It is still lots of fun to shoot....I think more so now than when I got it.......

    The 514 was my first .22, paid twelve bucks for it in a gunshop with no paperwork at all.
    Most people back then thought nothing of a kid owning a .22 rifle. I don't remember a single shooting by school kids back then, and some carried rifles and pitols to school for protection from feral dog packs.
