Yeah, like today would be a good day for them to come. Of course, the mail man would have to have a snow mobile! Then again, "Neither rain, sleet or SNOW, will keep them from their appointed rounds." (I think the slogan used to go like that!)

Trapped indoors except to go run the snow blower. Gonna do some casting later in the garage. I'm with Adam on this one.

    Is it here yet?

I thought of that rain, snow, sleet thing when I got up at 6am. We've got 11 on the ground with 1-3 more to come here in Lansing.

As far as I'm concerned MIHA should dam well take his sweet time. If I was in a hurry............well, this time of year (tax time...) heck I could use a vacation too............

Yeah, I didn't have this problem in CA either. Strange.

Well it got UP to 16 degrees F today, I'll do some casting later. Never too cold or hot back in the loading room.

The wait now begins for the 700 grand canyon mold, hopefully this one is close on it's heels!

It's supposed to warm up enough to snow this weekend... Should be balmy enough to get some casting done before the Stupor Bowl...

Southpaw, you're change has been noted. Since he's already ordered pins, switching from solid to HP will be dependent on him having enough pins on order.

    Trigger,
Is it possible to get pins for a solid bullet in addition to the HP pins?

Just wonderin' how to get the most out of this mold.
    Thanks,

    Trigger,
    DUH! Never mind.

I forgot the part where I read you just put the pins in backwards. DOOHHH!

Top Punch for MiHec .45 200g Cramer HP ??

    Gents -
A fellow forum member has graciously offered to provide me sample of these bullets for evaluation.

I would like to obtain a top punch for sizing if required, & lubing w/ my RCBS LAM2.
I'm wondering if RCBS makes the correct top punch, and / or if anyone has an extra they would be willing to sell??

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

    gcf;
Mihec has always supplied a proper top punch (will fit either the Lyman OR the RCBS) with the moulds. I presume he'll be doing the same with this one.

Maybe the Honcho will chime in here...

Every mould I have gotten from NOE and Mihec have come with top punches for the Lyman and RCBS lubers. I keep them in their respective boxes but I dont need them in the Star.

When my mould comes in, you are welcome to the top punch.

Yep, Dale's right, Miha will include a top punch. However gcf just needs a top punch for some boolits he's been given. I told him I would check if I had one when I can get over there. It's possible that an RCBS top punch would work. Anyone know?

    UPDATE:

    Gents -
Rumor has it that the Mihec 45 200HP, is a clone of the Lyman 452374 - but w/ a hollow point.

Question is, if it is a clone, how close is it? I found the following on Midway:

    Lyman #452374 Mould
    http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct...tNumber=204749

    Lyman #374 Punch
    http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct...tNumber=307803

Looks like the 374 punch should be close. Any thoughts?
