I rarely load anything at all when it's cold, like now.

I normally load for three rifle (.22-250, .243, .35 Rem) and three handgun calibers (.357 and .44 mag, .45 ACP and one shotgun gauge. But I have dies for some 25+ occasionally needed calibers and two more big hole gauges.

Hope reading all of that helps your quest. ??

    I only do"

    9mm
    38 spcl
    357 magnum
    45 ACP
    40 S&W

    And
    .308
    30-06
    .223/5.56

Will probably do M1 carbine too if I can ever find one for a reasonable price

I think I've added 4 cartridges in 3 calibers since this thread started; 44-40, 8 X 65R Brenneke, 8 X 60R Magnum and 7 X 64 Brenneke. There's a 60 cal., German, muzzleloading double rifle I'd like to add but I should thin the herd a little first. Difficulty is, what to cull....

    9mm (rarely)
    45 acp (very often)
    .357 (rarely)
    .38 special (rarely)
    460 rowland (often)
    45 colt (very often)
    500 magnum (often)

    308 (rarely)
    6.5 grendel (often)
    300 AAC (very often)
    45-90 (very often)

I like the idea of a 50-140 in BPCR one day...but im getting less and less inclined to add more cartridges but will rather experiment with the ones i have.

I have whittled down my calibers over the years and currently actively load for my use:

    .223/5.56
    .30/30
    .308
    .300 Win Mag
    9mm
    .38/.357
    .40 S&W
    12 ga
    20 ga
    28 ga

For friends and family, I have dies to load:
    .45 ACP
    .243
    .270
    .30/06

    Used to load
    .22 Hornet
    .222 Rem
    .243 Win
    6mm Rem
    .243 WSSM
    .25/06
    .270
    .30 Carbine
    .30/06
    .32 ACP
    .380
    .44 Spl/.44 Mag
    .45 LC

I do not miss any of the calibers I shed and will likely sell the .300 Win Mag and 28 ga as I have not used them in years.

Frankly, the only calibers/gauges I need to reload are:
    .223
    .308
    9mm
    .38/357
    12 ga

Those five handle all my needs well. Anything else is just more stuff to deal with. Although it might be "fun" for most folks, it does not fit for me. KISS works for me.

Calibers?? Probably only 10, but more than 70 cartridges in those 10 calibers.
    Accurate answer!

That's a couple of questions for me.

    1. What caliber guns do I have which I have a supply of ammo already that I am not currently loading for but am able with dies and components:

    45-70, .357 Mag, .38 special, 9mm, .222, .223, 7mm BR, 7mm Mag, .308, .45 ACP, and .45 Colt

    2. What calibers am I shooting and loading for:

    10mm, .40 S&W, .357 Sig, 9x25, and .38 Super

I have several other dies for guns I no longer have, but I never say never, they're not eating anything so they stay stored.
    Regards,

    Gary

Hmmmm I'm going to count 9mm and 350 Legend as the same caliber as the groove size is the same but not sure what to call it. The Gas Checks are sold as 35 caliber but the molds are 38 caliber and the 350 Legend Specs encompass 357, the diameter of my sizing die.

    And as always 44.

I wouldn't be sitting here but the damn range is CLOSED! LOL Some bicycle race!
