These make a real handsome boolit. Water dropped WW's sized at .501, gator checked, lubed with lars carnuba red and sitting on top of 35grs of H110 makes hedge apples explode into a million pieces and not too hard on the hands either. I like!!

I made some up the day before yesterday. Used 50-50 mix. They came out really pretty. They are very hefty!! Don't want to be on the down range end of that big bad boy. It's the biggest .500 S&W bullet I can make so far, and pleased with the results.
I smoked the cavities, and the bullets just drop right out!
Waiting for my gas checks and I'll be loading some of these.

I have the ability to make my own .500 gas checks, it's just slow going. So, Blammer has shipped me 1500 of the beauties. (At least I believe that he has shipped them)
I have a buddy with cancer who also needs some of these bullets (he needs them sized to .502/.503), so the purchase will take care of his needs in a big hurry.
I can now do the FN, HP, SP, and RN versions of .502, and am as happy as a guy can get.

I shot one into milk jugs filled with water. Alloy is ACWW with about 2% tin. 17 gr. of titegroup, that should be about 1300 fps (didn't check).
The results are disappointing.
500cadillac, is that fired boolit the one recovered from the water? it doesn't even look to be full dia?
try not water dropping them.

sorry, read it wrong...
for some reason it looks like the boolit shattered on the outside.
did the boolit stay in the water medium the whole time? meaning did it exit out of the jugs and was retrieved in some other media?
It went through 4 jugs then bounced off a piece of wood (willow). It hit the wood sideways. I think it somehow got longer (and narrower), maybe from going sideways in the water.
I shot another one into water today. It also bounced off the wood after the water and hit the wood sideways.
The rifling marks go way up on the nose.
The 2 on the right are the one I shot today.
