    I have shot the 250 gr i believe it is real boolit in my traditions deer hunter flintlock 1 in 48 twist with 80 gr 3f lubed with 50/50 beeswax and Crisco with a felt soaked wad under it with same lube It shot good but i like patched round balls better. Im going to go shoot tomorrow maybe i will take some and re visit them in my 50 TC Renegade. Love that rifle.

    For faster twist I prefer the Great Plains bullets or PP slugs. The Lee S&W mold also works if cast from soft lead. Size for a slip fit in the bore. Use over powder card wad and lubed felt wad with a stout charge of powder. I use 100gn with the Great Plains and S&W bullets and 80gn with a 450gn PP bullet. Last time I shot mine with the PP bullets it was 1 1/2" at 100yd.
