    6.5 Carcano brass???

Anyone know where to get 6.5 carcano brass?
The only place that I found that has it is Graf .
Had a hard time finding sizing dies too, but found
    them at Midsouth.
Got my special order 6.5 swed mold from Midsouth
today and just got done casting some up. Man, thats
a hell of a chunk of lead.

    I found this at www.Coledistributing.com

    6.5x52mm Carcano Soft Point
    #FNM24 Size 1 box (20rnds)

    Price: $9.95
6.5x52mm Carcano,123 grain Soft Point.New Ammuntion from FNM. Non-Corrosive.Fully reloadable. 264 diameter bullet.Muzzle velocity @805 meters per second(2615 fps)Brass Cased, boxer primed. Uses a standard larage rifle primer.Case necks are annealed for long reloading life.Laquer sealed primers and case necks for all weather shooting.

Best price I found for boxer brass in 6.5 carcano.

Norma produces the ammo as well but at three times the price for 20.

Yea Bruce, To hell with Norma. There overrated and over priced as far as
    I'm concerned. Doesn't last worth a damm.
I'm going to order a couple hundred from Graf I guess. It's about $33
bucks a hundred, and thats probably all I'll ever need.
    Thank for the info.

............SOME 6.5 Carcanos will shoot .264" jacketed slugs. Some won't, as the Italian 6.5 used a .266"/.267" slug. If you slug your barrel I'm pretty sure you'll find a .268" groove. Hornady makes a 160gr RNSP in .268" diameter and they suggest you abide by thier reloading data with it.

    Thanks Buckshot,
I did slug the bore and it is .268 dia.
I don't shoot jacketed in any of my milsurps anymore.
Been shooting lead for more than 40 years, and shot
handgun sillywets for 22 years. that big bullet should
    be just fine.

    My local baitshop has Graf-Hornady:
    2006 Huntington's Catalog - Graf-Hornady Cases
    GH10 6.5x52 Carcano ( 100 Pack ) $27.98.
That is $6.01 less than Graf's own price.
Graf lists Privi also at the same price as their own, $33.99.
    Cheers from Darkest California,
    Ross
(Yes, I am blessed with such a baitshop so close.)

I bought some from Buffalo Arms and they sell the Hornady imported cases. I have not seen their latest prices but they are on the net.
