    460 Rowland

I don't have one of these conversions, but I have accumulated a few hulls. Started looking for reloading dies and could not find any. Is this a special order item or what?

I don't know, but I am somewhat curious about the round in a Mech-Tech Carbine Conversion Unit. It's been a while since I've looked, but as I recall, they posted some interesting ballistics from a 16" barrel on their site.
Come to think of it, I think Mech-Tech had an FAQ list (or a link to someone elses FAQ list) on the 460 Rowland. You might want to do a search for the Mech-Tech site and see what you find. You might even be able to use 45 ACP dies for all I know.

    Edit:
Found the FAQ. It is on Clark Custom Guns' website.
You can use standard 45 ACP dies.

    Here's another:

From what I read, you can use your standard 45 acp dies. The case has the same outside diameter as a 45 ACP but it is a bit longer.

I load .460 Rowland for a gun dealer in California that's the state distributor for Masterpiece Arms guns (I had a big hand in setting up that deal).

Use standard .45 ACP dies but use .460 brass and data. Longshot is your friend.

I've used Hodgdon Longshot on heavy jacked 45 acp loads and it did well, but possibly a tad bit too slow. I would imagine it to work very well in the 460 Rowland as the pressures are higher for a better burn.
