    bad news for me!

surplus pr200 (accuate #2) has officialy dried up! Ive got 7 5lb kegs left but when thats done its all over. I never bought it for the savings. I bought it because it was the single most accurate powder ive found in the 45acp. Ive tried commercial aa2 it was close but must have had a slightly differnt burning rate as ive allways got a tad better accuracy with the surplus version. Oh well ive got enough for two more years anyway.

    I use mostly 4.1 with a 200 swc and a 15lb wolf spring and 5.0 with a stock spring.

Lloyd, 35 pounds of powder will only last you a couple of years? With 4.0 grains per load that is over 61,000 rounds of 45; you shore must do some shooting!

.............YEESH! That's about 800 lbs of lead a year, at the least!

Wacha loading with the WSL? I have 3 8 # kegs and so far have only loaded 3.2 grains in the .38 spl with a 158 Gr. SWC. That stuff is gonna last a loong time at that rate of use. It is ideal for medium duty 1 1/8 oz 12 ga loads but I tend to favor 1 1/4 oz. horsepower for my 12 ga field shooting.

That is my almost favorite powder for 130 plinkers in any 30 cal...not fast but very accurate......It's like brilcreame....'a little dab will do ya'

and recently my lead supply has been slowly drying up. Wws are getting tough to find in any quanity and my lynotype supply is low and theres no more on the horizon. Dont know what ill do when i retire and have time to shoot seriously. I got the idea for the bullet trap on here and its been a real savior. It allow me to recoup about half my lead. Doesnt help much to get back the alloys i like to use for differnt applications but at least i get plinking lead back. I dont remember who posted the pic of the trap but i thank you!!
