SO what a beautiful, really hot though day in central Florida, we had 15 shooters partake in our little throw together 4th of July tournament, Eddie are humble and gracious owner prevailed as our winner, Paul snuck in in 2nd, and Greg rounded out the top 3. SP primers were the prizes and everyone had a great day. Some of the wives showed up and we had a big grill out after shooting. We have a great group of family at the lost nickel ranch, MAN I LOVE THIS GAME, AND EVRYONE INVOLVED, THANKS AGAIN!!!! Be safe the rest of the day, oh yeah, Eddie is doing a big fireworks display tonight on top of everything else he does!!!

Yes we had a great day at Lost Nickel Range, the shooting, the food and socializing.
Actually the winners were Eddie, 1st. Robert 2nd. And Paul 3rd. But Robert was gracious and bowed out as he and I were rangmasters and he provided the prizes. He also did the grilling and did a great job. Good burgers and hot dogs. Thanks buddy.

That pace is too frenetic for me. Besides, I'd have to buy a lawn chair.

Its pretty slow to be honest, and once you learn it, piece of cake, and if you ever get down this way, we have plenty of chairs you can use, heck, extra guns and ammo too, so as Bob use to say, "COME ON DOWN"!!!

It actually is a slow paced game, however we put a 50 min time limit per game. Generally if everyone is shooting good a game takes about 35 to 40 mins. We normally have 5 to 6 shooters per line, with 6 being the limit. We have 3 bays now so on Tuesdays we have 15 to 18 shooters and Saturday 10 to 12. We shoot 4 games. We start at 9 am and usually are finished between 12:30 to 1pm. Generally we shoot an average of 80 rounds per four games. This is the most fun you can have with a gun. The game is challenging if you want it to be or easy as you want to be. We have young teenagers, 4 woman and young to retired guys. The youngest is 13 and the oldest is 76 so you can see it’s a game for all ages. It also promotes gun handling and safety. The fellowship is at it’s finest and we are like family.
We have a couple of cookouts and other functions together and regularly get together for lead recovery and lead rendering and other reloading functions. We all look forward to Tuesdays and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. I love this game

We make them. There is a pdf file back in the early part of this thread that gives the dimensions I believe.

We had 10 shooters today, got my new glasses, they work great, I can see again. BigBird was In George racing this weekend but His wife Mary came to shoot. We got all 4 games in just in time for the rain to start. July has 5 Saturdays so we we’ll have a tournament.
