    Had some fun today

I took the super Red Hawk to the range with scope installed TIGHT. I shot some nice groups with fliers as usual. 25 yards, DA mode 10 shots in Just under 2.3". The other two opened it up to Just under 5". That is about the best I can do.

I shot all matches. I have a target I shot at 50 yards with iron sights, but for the life of me I can only count 11 holes. . I guess I will have to send the 11 5/8 inch group. No time tomorrow to try again.

All in all I must have shot over 300 rounds for this match. I love it!

David, check post number 1, for this match the postmark date is Sept 05, the day after labor day. (Plus or minus a little too, I'm a bit more lax than those April 15th fellows.)

Plenty of time guys, keep shooting.

Where do I send them to?
From the early reports,12 shots on a paper plate could be a winner in He Man irons!

I shot 5 targets at 50 yards Iron sights. One had 12 holes in it. One had 8, one had 11 and the one next to it had 13..........

All matches shot and will be mailed in tomorrow.

    Thanks

forgot the paper plate, but I did shoot those on my lunch.

They take up about 3/4 of a 50 yard timed fire repair center.

OK,12 shots in 8 and 1/2" out of a lot of tries. Should just fit on a 9" paper plate.

Oh man, sounds like I was nudged out of first place. Mine's easily 9" because I had 2 (3?) on the edges...That was a rough stage and didn't come in only 12 shots.

Do you mean you shot more than 12 shots to get 12 on the target?

No, it took me 48 rounds to complete the stage! 4 targets/trys. I didn't shoot until I got 12 hits, I shot until I got 12 hits in a row on the same plate. Sheer luck really. I was averaging 8-9 hits per 12 and was suprised that I was able to get a qualifying plate at all at that point.

Nothing wrong with luck Double Action at 50 yards for sure. Take a look at post #27 in this thread, thats my target. I shot at 50 long enough to loose track of the round count.

All good. I ran out of trys with a best of 11 on the paper, so I didn't even get an entry.
