Thumbs down DEADBEAT - Joe's Custom Concepts

It's about time to call a spade a spade. After waiting 16 months for a group buy receiver and lower parts kit, and a promise from Joe to ship the lower with a LPK refund last November, I believe I have been hoodwinked by a deadbeat.
The dearth of communication or action leads me to believe I'll never see my $185 again.

I probably differ from other board members on the receiver deal in that I dealt directly with Joe, while everyone else went through Colbyjack.

Dealing with Colbyjack doesn't change the fact that we are still out of money. All communication has been to deal with Joe.

he still into me for a bunch of ar magazines. For what we paid for them he could have bought a bunch at brownells and sent them to us and still made a profit. I just dont believe that it really has taken this long to get our stuff. I feel sorry that colbyjack is in the middle of this. He seems like a stand up guy but this is the first time i feel ive been ripped off buying anything on the internet.

He's into me for a LPK and a lower receiver. It's been 11 months since he promised to ship it. Every time I go to the post office I forget to take my receipt for this, mostly because I have it tacked to the corkboard in my office. I have the postal money order receipt and original PO counter receipt. I also have all the emails dealing directly with Joe. I didn't go through colbyjack so my complaint will tie Joe directly to mail fraud.
Anyways, I'm making a special trip to the PO this weekend and filing a complaint for postal fraud. When i file the complaint I'll update the board here so others can join in.

Karma has a way of catching up to you

I don't need to judge Joe so harshly anymore. That's a job for Sky6. He assumed room temperature Sunday.

    Joe's an honest man now

sorry to hear it but in the two years he had our money him or colby jack could have done SOMETHING to rectify this. I know I want to go in front of the big man with my reputation in tact. If the man was in need of help for medical bills and would have stated that im sure many including me would have told him to keep our money. He took the cowards way and just quit answering emails and colbyjack just disapeared from the fourm. Niether are getting much sympathy from me.
