    home made muzzel protector

    for you guys that have glass ramrods or any outher ramrod and wont to protect the muzzel of your gun when out hunting with out have ing to pull out your cone muzzel protector, here's one made from a 45/70 case just drill out the primer pocket to fit your ram rod it fitts perfect in a 50cal and works in a .54 cal and is on the ramrod all the time it also helps hold the ramrod in place see pic's

    What a good idea. I am always impressed by a simple solution, especially in a situation like this where a trained engineer would design something about the size of a Toyota and equally complicated.
