Better let Swede know with a PM. He may not be watching this thread real close.

Is it too late to join this group buy? I'd like a five cavity with three gas check and two plain base and one of the gas check cavities with hollow point.

Thanks SwedenNelson for running this group buy. I sent my payment a few days ago, and am now eagerly awaiting this moulds arrival.

And thank you Beerd for honchoing this buy.

    technically this buy is closed
of course technically this started out as a small group buy for 5 moulds
somehow it grew to where now there are over 20 orders
I don't see how one more would hurt
there are two moulds in front of this one in the production schedule

send your request in a PM to Swede

Mailed my MO away at noon on the 11th this month. Still no confirmation of receiving my payment as my postal code doesn't appear yet on the paid list. I'm guessing the next update to the list will include it.

Just thought I'd comment here for the record just in case there was a problem - as production will be starting soon I should imagine.

    Hollow-point,

The nose profile looks like it should be a good feeder, it works good in 35 Remington. You should be able to load this boolit in 38 special cases and use the crimp groove on the boolit. If you use 357 Mag cases you will need to crimp on the ogive in order to have a cartridge short enough to work through the action. The Ranch Dog Molds site has a discussion on this bullet titled "The 100 Year Hunter" that includes his testing of this bullet in the Marlin 1894 357 rifle as well as the Marlin 336. He cautions that you need to keep the OAL to 1.59 inches for it to work through the 357 action. He will put more data on the site as it becomes available. Whether or not this heavy a bullet is a good idea for the 357 Mag or the 38 special is another question. Tested loading data will be hard to find.

Hey I was just curious if there was any word on a due date? I understand things happen, and I am in no real rush, but deer season is fast approaching and I was hoping to have a cast load already developed for my 35rem.

Picked up moulds first thing today.
    Cast great - dimensions .35895 to .35920
Weight 182.8Gr. with my WW material.

    GC a firm snap fit.

Box them up and start to get them out today.
