Swede Nelson's best guess for delivery can be found here http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=72802

It looks like we are keeping these guys plenty busy with all of our Group Buy moulds.

I am interested in a 5-C (3 PB with 2 GC if possible). This will be my first time in on a group buy, is it to late to get in? How much do they cost + shipping? How long will they take to make? Oh and will I have to trim my 357 brass shorter just to get it to a proper COL like what I have to do for my Lyman 358429s?

you have been added to the list of interested buyers
cost for NOE moulds is in the original post
the last info we have is that production is scheduled for July with delivery in August
Swede Nelson will call for payment sometime before that

I don't know about loading these in a 357 mag. Like you, I am going to have to wait until I get my mould and see.

    Thanks Beerd.

Hmm… If Swede Nelson can find a way to put the crimp groove close enough to the nose so that it will fit in a 357 case without having to trim it short I am definitely in on this buy.

    2ndAmendmentNut,

We can get this bullet set up for a gas check or a plain base.
We can get it hollow pointed or not.
We can get any combination of the above, HP GC, FP PB, etc.

However the basic design can't be changed. The number of grease grooves is fixed, the two crimp grooves have to stay where they are, the meplat is set at .256".

What firearm are you loading the .357 for?

I guess I misunderstood. You stated that you were going to have to “wait and see” in answer to my question about trimming 357 brass. Which lead me to believe the mould was still being designed. I see I was wrong now (new to the group buy's). I intend to use these or at least try to use them in a Ruger GP100, and a Marlin 94. Ideally I will not have to trim the brass short like what I have to do with 358429s.

Breed, am learning more about this cast boolit thing and I would like to change my order. I originally ordered "18. Duckhunter ........ RG2 GC"; I would like to change this to a 4 cavity mold with 2 plain base boolits and 2 gas checked boolits.

I traded for a few boolits from the original mold and I don't see the need for a hollow point boolit any longer.

    Whelen B,

    First, Welcome to the Board!

    RG stands for Rube Goldberg
They are 2 cavity and 4 cavity hollow point moulds with a pretty clever pin setup.
Take a look at post #50 on Page 3 here to learn all about it
