Yes Lloyd, I think it is true. I heard that it might be so last night while at work, but couldn't confirm it. Jeff, or Madcaster, as we all knew him was a truly great guy and a great friend of mine. Jeff was a very generous and honest man, he will be sorely missed. All I heard is that his wife Rhonda came home yesterday and found him passed away. He was forty-six years old. One of the really really good guys. Rest in peace Madcaster old pal.

hope theres a couple flintlocks where hes at now for him to play with!!
What a shame! I just linked this to a post he had in Swapin and Sellin. My thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.
That is far too young to take the final trip. My thoughts and prayers go out to those that knew and loved him.
I had only one purchase from Jeff and he was good to deal with.
My prayers to his family and freinds, Im sure he will be missed by all who knew him.
Mike
not trying to butt in, but jeff lissted a bunch of stuff for sale.
is it possible that one of the guys that knew him could work with his wife to complete those deals ?
not today...but in a couple of days take a copy of the for sale post to her, and offer to finish up what he started, i'm sure the cash whould be nice at a time like this.

GUNFIRE! The sound of Freedom!
What a tragedy. Great guy and a hell of a friend. Hopefully he is hunting buffalo with his forefathers.

We'll miss you, Jeff.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
Wow, thats horrible, now I know why he was not answering my PM
God be with him and his family.

Jeff Stamper has passed on. I spoke to his sister-in-law just now and confirmed that he died of a massive heart attack. Visitation will be Tuesday night with the funeral following on Wednesday. Jeff was a great individual both on and off the boards for those of us that had the oppurtunity to know him. Please keep Jeff's family in your thoughts and prayers through this trying time.

A couple of days???
I would be greatly surprised if his wife would turn her attention to something so mundane for a month or more, after losing her husband so suddenly. I couldn't blame her if she waited a year before thinking about what to do with her dead husband's 'toys'...and (when it does happen) she might prefer to give them to family members.
I'm just sayin'..

Retired...TWICE. Now just raisin' cows and livin' on borrowed time.
Thanks for all positive e-mails from you and may you rest in peace at your
new hunting ground my friend.

I have to agree Jeff was a great person to deal with.
Yes he was far too young at only 46 to be called up. But one can look at it as a whole new adventure.
best wishes and prayers to his family and freinds

Moodyholler just called me with this terrible news.
Jeff was my friend. I'll miss him.
