August, I am a fan of the .357 Sig as well, my first choice for a defensive caliber, but I don't shoot it much because I am tired of chasing the brass. Great caliber though.

I'd chase it, if I could figure out where the heck it goes. Seriously!

Being the fact that the Poll question is asking what caliber / round you put down range, the most..... I find it interesting that no one at all has voted for the 380 or 40 cal. In my locale 'round here, all the brass to be picked up is either 9mm or 40 and lots of it. 380 brass is found, seldom.

I know that factory 380 ammo is scarce so thats possibly a good indicator according to the Poll or then, is it.

Again, the Poll question is: What round do you send down range - most ?

Its not a question of choice (no reason to get nervous ) although I know the thread Title may be a little misleading if you don't read closely.

I love all my toys equally too, but here, 38 Spl goes down range more than any other cal.

Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Prosperous New Year !

I got to admit that I read it correctly and began my answer correctly, then got off track.
I edited my post to reflect that change- thanks for the attitude adjustment, Sprue!

I shoot my SP101 3" 357 magnum the most because that's my carry gun. I load to 2 different levels for practice, sort of a hot 38+P and a true full out magnum.

    One more for other here.
    I second the .357 SIG.

As strange as it sounds that's the pistol caliber I really shoot the most.
But as August and exile said - chasing brass is no fun, better take a broom to the range.

Voted other, I'm a big fan of the .455" Webley round.

    Big boolits are best.

Least favourite is the 9mm Parabellum, nasty little round.

I would love to say 44WCF, 38WCF, something classy like that, but i don't even own one. I got a 7mmTCU, but the 38 Special wins, hands down.

    Sorry............

.........I'm a pistol snob. IS there any other than .45acp?

    I have .22, .25, .380, 9mm, .38, .357, .44 special too.....the .25 is a joke but it is cute and CHROME.............

If I had more brass the .44 special would run a really close second...I just have too many .45's I've built.

Every time I go to the range I bring one of my .44s along so make mine a .44 magnum.
    Keep moving forward!

Another vote for the Venerable 10MM!!!!
Loaded with 200gr XTP @ 1200fps runs in at 630 fpe! Paired up with a 1911 platform, my Delta Elite is a perfect combination! I can load it down to equal 40 Short & Weak, or load it up to be on par with the classic light 41 Magnum! Plus, it's a semi auto. Whats not to like??

Well, 357mag... But 7.62x25 comes in at a VERY close second. Its probably one of the most under rated rounds out there...
Currently looking for a Lyman/Ideal 311419 Mold - PM if you have one you'd like to get rid of!
