Recently got a 300 Remington Ultra Mag

Been trying to work up some 300 remington ultra mag bullets but can't find a good one as of yet. Going to work with some R25 powder. Anyone have some good grouping loads for this?

    Nope!

But hows about 14.0grs of Unique and the Lyman 311284 as a place to start?

GLM: I haven't tried RL25 in it , but did shoot some cast with good results at about 1600 fps. I use WC872 or 5010 for hunting loads, 190 horn, 200 Sierra,220 Horn. Here are some loads to ponder-

    109.0 gr WC872(lot49617)/190 gr Horn BT/FC215 pr-3171 fps
    94.0 gr H4831sc/150 w-wPP/fc215 pr-3489fps
    92.0 gr VV N165/190 Horn BT/fc215 pr-3042fps
    101.0 gr IMR 5010(LC84A)200 gr Sierra BT/fc215 pr-3042 fps
    102.0 gr WC872(49617)220 Horn RN/fc215 pr-2939fps
    27.0 gr XMP5744/200 gr CAST/fc210pr-1607fps

I have 7828 and Retumbo, just haven't got around to trying it yet, my 700 bdl seems to prefer the heavier bullets at near max, although all loads listed are more than adequately accurate for hunting. The gophers(grave diggers) I've shot with the 190's usually only require one shot!

We got some 7828 and are going to go try some loads with that and some fancy R25 loads. I'll let you know the results in case anyone is interested.

GLM; The WC 872 loads aren't too bad at 1.25"/100 yds. I've got about 40 # of it and it was dirt cheap- little less than a dollar a pound, 7.44 a jug. I load a box of 20 with the 200 gr Sierra for about 4.70, works for me as I'm a cheap, meat hunter!
