    Alloy calculater spreadsheet

I made a simple spreadsheet calculator to help figure out what is going on when mixing several different alloys. You can adjust your values till you get the recipe for your desired alloy.
If someone has a way of hosting the file for download , I will email it to you.
I would like to share this little tool with everyone and maybe a more enthusiastic programmer could even expand the idea from what I have.
Sent from my PC with a keyboard and camera on it with internet too.

Is it an excel doc? I could have the wife link it in my familys website and see if the webmaster would post a link as a sticky. Let me know. My email is neilsbohr73@yahoo.com if you want to email it to me.

    Lwknight,

Here's a link to a similar spreadsheet I wrote several years ago. Does your spreadsheet produce the same results?

As you can see, I just attached the file to the message and it works fine. The file doesn't need to be hosted anywhere else. In edit mode, click on the "advanced" button and then you will see a paper clip. This will alloy you to attach the file to the post.

    Thanks Sam and Mike.
Thanks for links to the other spearsheets too guys.
These give more ideas too. One thing I learned over the years is that even though a program exactly suits the originator and is easy to use, may not be so simple for a non familiar person.
What I have tried to do is to make a bare bones simple layout that anyone with a little excel exp. can easily customize and expand to their own needs. I believe there is an innovator/inventer in all of us and some just need a tip or direction to look to.

I see that there is still a lot of work to do with my little calc, like, automatically filling the balance with the correct percentage of lead. When the percentages go to decimals it gets tricky to get everything just right to add up to 100%

I hope these get a lot more potential programmers interested and maybe we will end up with an executable program that is independant of the document client host.
