Lord, make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true and my hand faster than those who would seek to destroy me. Grant me victory over my foes and those that wish to harm to me and mine. Let not my last thought be “If only I had my gun”; and Lord if today is truly the day that You call me home, let me die in a pile of brass.

I am out of town, enjoy your holidays.

Normally put out by Ideal/Lyman as a 287346. Supposedly it's a 135 grain RN gas check design.

I'm betting that yours is a Ideal mould and they kind of roved around when it came to prefix numbers in the early days. Don't mean that it will cast that diameter, that's just what they liked that day as a prefix./beagle

An older design. I don't have access to my old Cast Bullet Handbooks, they're out in the gun room, so I don't now if anyone filed reports on it. It looks like a possibility for the 7x57, etc. as long as it casts large enough and the rifle isn't too worn.

I have a had time passing up cheap moulds too.

Ideal Handbook #37 lists mould 285346 as follows and I quote "A fine gas-check bullet for 7mm rifles. Seat bullet as far out of case as possible and still have cartridge work through magazine. Accurate to about 400 yards. Fine for target shooting or for the larger species of small game."
