Hello to all,

I had curtailed my shipping of 50+lb boxes of lead due to an injury to my arm in December 2021. I lifted too heavy a bucket of brass. I continued my normal shipping activities (being careful) and my arm was slowly on the mend until I aggravated it in April. After advice from my doctor, I was not to be lifting 50+lbs! I did ship some lead in SFRB's in the meanwhile. I went to therapy and did exercises to help heal the injury. And allowed my arm to rest!

As of a few days ago, I have resumed shipping 50+lbs. I did have requests over the past few months for lead (in 50+lb boxes) and made a list. I hope to send PM's to these forum members, but I am hoping that some of them will see this post. I fully understand some folks probably bought lead ingots elsewhere and all is good!

Blackie (retired 81) is doing as well as can be expected. He has a constriction in his urethra (could be scar tissue from the stones). Due to this, small amounts of urine pass. Took him to surgeon for consult a couple of days ago. Options not good due to where the constriction is located. There are 3 surgeries possible, 2 of which surgeon would not do on his cat (nor my vet would do on his). The 1st one would not work due to location of the constriction. Blackie appears to be in good health otherwise! His personality is still the same! A rabble rouser from his days at the 81 HQ that is across from my shop (which I had to vacate in November!). Blackie is on prescription food and will take this one day at a time. I am leaving his fate in the hands of the Lord. Thank you for asking!
