Hello to all,

Unfortunately, due to ever increasing expenses - and the latest being a big jump in price for propane, I am increasing my range lead price from $1.098 per pound to $1.138 per pound. This is due mostly to the jump in propane pricing, and the dealer that I buy from is anticipating a further increase in price. There are other dealers in my area, but they are charging more than the dealer that I am working with now. For my pending orders, I am holding to my quoted price of $1.098. As an aside, BJ's warehouse club seemingly is charging a low price but they only fill the tanks to 70% capacity (14 pounds vs 20 pounds, and they quote $18.89 to fill a 20lb tank - non-member). Figuring the price per pound, and if one is not a member, the propane cost is 10 cents higher than what my dealer is charging, per pound, $1.35 (BJ) vs $1.25 (my dealer). Up until a couple of weeks ago, I was paying $1.075 per pound.

So to one's door, 50+lbs range lead is $73. (1.138 x 50 = 56.90 + 16.10 postage = 73)

Most of you know that I do not often increase my pricing but there comes a time that I have to do so - and I do try to be modest. The new price should cover a further increase of propane, as long as it is not some outrageous jump!!!

My mantra has always been to charge a price both fair to the customer and also to me.

I just looked now (2:18 am - 4/21), and found one PM from you that was not yet read by me (04-12-2022, 01:39 PM). It was buried in a flood of PM's from that day. Sorry it got overlooked. My apologies! Regarding your comment about not sure if I am receiving your PM's: you sent some in January. I responded on 2/1 at 04:57, acknowledging the PM's - that I was busy/wouldn't be shipping 1st week of Feb/ and "Feel free to contact me next week for a status if you don't hear from me". And you responded the following day that that you would follow up next week. I did not receive any further communication from you until April 12th (the PM that got buried). I will respond to your PM soon! Had some drama here with my shop vehicle (Feb 28: broken timing chain/valve job started in March, and FINALLY will be getting the vehicle back today!!!!). Yes I have lead for you (as I had mentioned in one of my PM's) and will be fetching more the end of this month (and have a shop vehicle now, available for transport!).
