    Rem 6 1/2 vs. sm pistol mags?

    Anyone know how these compare?
    Have a batch of 6 1/2's from hornet days and thinkin
    of burning them up on some 820 that needs a good start.

    Pure guess here, but the Rems are probably milder than a small pistol magnum. Can't say for sure because SPM primers vary from brand to brand.
