Yes, I would love to have a 358627 for my .357 Max.
Just a question, why is there a need in two lube grooves for a bullet that won't be pushed to higher velocities?
My Handi rifle .357 Mag will take an OAL of 2.0" in 1.5" brass, so a two crimp groove design, like a 358156, instead of two lube grooves makes more sense to me.
I am interested in this mold as well. thanks
A good point, I'm open to either two lube grooves or two crimp groves. Given the OAL of the boolit this mold would cast, two crimp groves might make a lot of sense. I can't imagine pushing it much past 1150fps in a handgun. Out of a handi-rifle it would probably make a couple hundred fps faster.

I will be in the minority here but I am looking at Swede's single crimp bullet for .357MAX not .357 mag.
In GC version it will be run over 1700 fps.
We already ran a Group Buy for the 45 2.1 designed 358627 (2 crimp grooves).
Bruce at BRP has a beautiful 215gr 358627 custom version already in his catalog ! No need for a Group Buy !

Live generously.
I'm interested in a 5 cavity of this design IF it is available as a plain base....OR even better, a combination of plain base and gas check like Swede and the boys did on my 360180. the designs in post #13 and #21 look like what I want.

I've got applications for both plain-based and gas-checked, so what EDK proposes would be ideal for me, too.
My preference is for a PB with two lube grooves and a single crimp groove, but I am flexible. Lets keep this going folks!

Put me on the list for a 5 cavity, 4 plain base and one gascheck cavity. I should have the money by the time this is a go.
Thanks y'all
Fast is fine, but accuracy is final!

did someone change the title to this thread? I thought we were discussing a semi-wadcutter. Isn't a LBT more of a "wide flat nose"?
