Oh my!
Been there done that, you should see the look on peoples faces. Especially the range master when he's trying to score hits.
Warning, if your the generous type have plenty at the range, people will want a hand full. I've caught people rummaging through my truck trying to find some to, I guess steal.

I am with Dframe on this one. I know you guys have waited a long time for this mold, but if anyne doesn't like it or needs to sell it, please put me second in line (after Dframe). I would definately be interested. Thanks guys!
JD
I hope your vacation went well. It is great to hear that the moulds are casting well. What diameter are the boolits dropping at? Any pictures yet?

Everett
Well, now that the molds are on the way (hopefully), does anyone have load data for multiple 38 and 357 rounds?
I've got a 215 grain custom (Mountain Molds) that sits over 10 grains of A9 using magnum primers and its not a maxed load. I've used it in my GP100 and Marlin. Now, 3 of these little pills will sit deeper and come in 10 grains heavier, so starting low and working up will be the rule.
I have not tried any fast burning powder under my heavy slug, so I'm curious to hear what loads are known good when using BE or unique.
Well I'm all up to temp and fluxed.
If you could post the zips as they go out I think I might be
able to relax a little - maybe not.
Mr. rabbit better watch out now
I was going to use flat rat boxes to speed up packing but the post office only had 4 and they said i could order them online but that will take 7-10 days. Then the printer ran out of ink today when I went to print shipping labels for the 4 boxes i have. Sooooooooo When I go to work tonight I'm going to pick up a few rolls of brown shipping paper, a bunch of packing tape, and a new ink cartridge and come home at 11pm and have a packing marathon with my wife and get them all out tomorrow morning. So most of you should have them by Saturday.
As for loads this is what I have came up with for my Marlin .357 1894c
3 stack over 4.5g Unique
At 20 yards all 3 are in about a 4" group
single 6.5g unique
60 yards they hit the center.... They just hit a little low.
That is all I have played with.
JD,
All you have to do is tape the box that the molds come in closed and put an address label on the box. That is what I have done on group buys and also what Lee does when they send out just one mold. It is cheaper that way, because a flat rate box big enough costs about $4 or $5 more, depending on destination.
"packing marathon with my wife"
Thank the BOTH you for your motivation to get these in our hands! This group buy will probably go into the urban legend books as few will believe it took nearly 2 years to get a few blocks of alumium machined with a token number of holes.
There is NO subsitute for heavy, large diameter bullets or cubic inches!
Well go figure that tonight was the night to stay till midnight Got home around 12:30am. And the wife and i have been wrapping and printing and taping since....... only about 7 more to go but they will be in the mail in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well i guess its morning here right now so in about 9 Hours. I have a couple that don't have addresses or a last name so i will be getting a hold of you tomorrow. But the wait is almost over!!!!!!!!!!!!! my floor is covered in brown packages and Priority mail labels. Now I can really go and play with my new bullets
ENJOY BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are in the mail as of about 3 hours ago.....
You are indeed a fortunate man to have a wife that will stay up till 4 am helping you that way. Mine surely wouldn't. Thanks for your efforts.
I need the following people to pm me with first and last name. So i can ship your molds.
Eric zip 80212
Jackson zip 63010
Thanks guys
got mine today a ok, thanks again, must melt lead.

Nothing for me yet
Cases primed, powder in hopper, sizer all filled up and dies in the press.
3 weeks til rat season - might still make it.
I've had mine now for all of 5 minutes and it looks good. Now I have to get some handles since I gave mine to a friend in Las Vegs.
Thanks JD, been a long wait but I've been shooting these little guys for a long time using a single cavity Lyman 358101. It's east to burn through a bunch in no time a 6 cavity will help keeping the supplies up, and for me anyway the wait was worth it.
I shoot these in 4 soon to be 5 .38/357's all with more than satisfactory accuracy. It can be a rather touchy project in some guns "patience is going to be a virtue at times" unless these Lee's are different.
I'd like to know if anyone is going to be shooting them out of a rifle.
