    Question Size 461 to 433????

Has anyone tried to size a bullet this much????
    Think it could be done????
I'll be using a Lee sizer to do it.

I believe you´d have to use several different sizers to get down that low. I don´t think you can do it in one stroke.

Could it be done?? Probably, with a number of passes. Would it shoot well afterwards?? Probably not. That boolit would be pretty beat up..
PS 45 Nut - Thanks for the promotion. I'll try to live up to it.... Enjoy Mike

I've done it with the Collar Button boolit. Make sure the grooves are full of grease to preserve them. On a "normal" bullet, I would expect some growth in the length and maybe some nose deformation, depending on alloy.

What boollit are you considering squeezing?

Thats a long way to go. I'm no expert but would think that you would get unacceptable distortion of the boolit. Even if doing it in several passes by changing the sizers.

No way to know until you try. Do fill the lube grooves first as said, then go for it!

    definately fill the grooves first.
maybe even again during the process you should have a very soft boolit when done as it will anneal the aloy.
