    Heater for Lyman 45?

    I got a couple of Lyman 45 luber/sizer units.

for black powder lube, I just use SPG and it works fine. A tad bit of heat from my Benzomatic if its cool in the basement, but, most of the time it "just works".

But, for Felix lube, I have to apply heat...no doubt about it. (Thanks Felix!!! good stuff)

will the current Lyman heater for the 450 fit under the base of the 45? It sure looks like it will...

    Regards...

It'll fit, but you'll have to drill new holes to mount the 45. I (and quite a few others) mount the press to a piece of scrap aluminum or steel big enough to set a yard sale flat iron behind the press. Works great at very low cost.
