    Lube Melted from Boolits

I recently dug out about 750 156 gr SWC 38's that had been stored in the garage and found that the grooves had melted out to about half full.
Is that enough lube for 850 fps, or would it be a good idea to load up a few and see if there is a leading problem.
If they need more lube, could I just add some Johnsons Paste wax by hand, or is there another product I could use? I do not have a lubrisizer.
    Thanks

It might be enough, but then it might not be. If you have the Johnson's, just melt a little bit and tumble lube them to coat the boolits, no need to finger lube them. You could also use Lee Liquid Alox and tumble lube. I'd go for the Johnson's if you have it...Ray

I recently found some 35 year old boolits in similar condition.
They worked just fine with the remaining lube.
I had considered giving them a quick dip in LLA, if needed.

i shot some old stuff where the lube had started to break up and fall out of the grooves. it leaded pretty badly. i ended up just lee liqid aloxing the rest of them, end of problem. that is what i would suggest you do. scrubbing lead from a barrel is just no fun to me.

    Thanks to all,
It looks like I should be able to make them work out.
    Thanks again
