I have never done it, but I think a .357/.358 slug would be a little small. You spiked my interest because I reload .410 and cast for .357/.38.....so check this page out. It may give you some helpful info. http://mcb-homis.com/slug_410/ ...sorry forgot to post web address!

Actually the.395/.400 RB is usually used for a .410 slug. If you slugged your barrel all the way through the choke and it's smaller than this then it'd be worth doing again.
We sell RB's of all sizes skidd041, so if you're wanting to try a couple different sizes i'll set ya up cheap with some sample packs, mainly just postage to get them to you. Keep me in mind ; )
    Welcome to Cast Boolits!!

And if it's round ball slugs your considering then, yes, slug your barrel as suggested. However, this chart will get you at least close just based on choke constriction:

On a side note, in a true cylinder bore 410 slug gun (last two inches of barrel sawed-off and re-crowned) a RCBS 410 ball mold just ever so slightly lapped out to drop balls of WW alloy at exactly 0.412" from both cavities makes one heck of a 410 slug load ------ will punch clean through a deer including shoulder plate and upper leg bones.
